the other night,
i was looking the sky
i saw a light
and it made me cry
i thought it was a planet or a star
but as it turns out,
it was my heart
it had flown up into a cloud
and by the time i noticed
i couldn’t pull it down
it went spinning silently in space
and couldn’t be seen
by the entire human race
i flew up to catch my heart
but it just crumbled apart
there was nothing i could do
and now my heart is a part of you
and in my soul, i feel a loss
for the six million hearts it had cost
never forget, always remember
that a heart lives forever
